I have been planning to write a blog post dedicated to only ballet for a while. And now I finally did it.
My first dance / ballet photoshoot was a couple of years ago with Sofia (back then she was only 14 year old ). I remember seeing some great work on Instagram from different photographers. I knew that this is something I would love to try. So I found Sofia and we organised a day out in London. It was very nice sunny October day. Although it was a bit chilly – Sofia was really brave and gave us the best performance. I was really pleased with our work and I wanted to do more.
Since then I have been working with few more dancers including Emma Clandon, who I found for my dance in studio project. She and her colleague Emma Levene then invited me to photograph their team from Double Twist Dance in a ohcreativespace.com in Bermondsey. It was an amazing opportunity to meet more dancers. And that’s exactly what happened when I met the amazing Romano there.
We worked together since only once but I am pretty sure we will again in the future. We did our photoshoot in High End Studios in Wembley. This place offers great space and really great studio light equipment.
For this project Sofia joined us again and we created more magic.
Here are some of the shots from all these photoshoots. I can not wait to work with more dancers in the future.
If you are a dancer and would like to work with me I am more than happy to hear your ideas and requests. Please, contact me on my e-mail or via contact form and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
I hope you enjoy reading this and scrolling through the photos, please let me know in the comment below.
Have an amazing day
